Officers Arrest Suspect Linked to Multiple Burglaries

(Wilmington, DE 19805) The New Castle County Division of Police has apprehended 40-year-old Vincent Martin of Wilmington in connection with a series of burglaries targeting a local business. On Monday, July 29, 2024, at 5:55 a.m., officers responded to a burglary at Little Caesar’s Pizza on the 1400 block of Latimer Circle. During their investigation, they identified Vincent Martin as the suspect involved in the incident. Additionally, they linked Vincent Martin to an earlier burglary at the same location on Monday, July 15, 2024. Later that day, on July 29, 2024, Vincent Martin was located and arrested without incident in Wilmington.

Vincent Martin was transported to the New Castle County Police Headquarters, where he was charged with the following:

  • Two felony counts of burglary third degree.
  • One misdemeanor count of theft under $1500
  • One misdemeanor count of attempted theft under $1500

Vincent Martin was arraigned by the Justice of the Peace Court 2 and committed to the Howard Young Correctional Institution after failing to pay $4,000.00 secure bail.
