The New Castle Division of Police is aware of a video circulating regarding a use-of-force incident between a citizen and our officers. The incident occurred on the afternoon of June 29, 2024, at the Royal Farms on Pulaski Highway.
At the direction of the Chief of Police, the body-worn camera footage is being released. The link can be found below:
As indicated, this investigation remains active and ongoing with the Division’s Use of Force Review Unit, the Professional Standards Unit, and the Delaware Department of Justice, Office of Civil Rights and Public Trust.
