(Bear, DE 19701) Patrol Officers with the New Castle County Division of Police apprehend 32-year-old Justin Miro of New Castle following a complaint of a suspicious person rummaging through vehicles.

On Tuesday, January 21, 2025, around 3:00 a.m., officers responded to the 900 block of Rue Madora Drive in Pine Woods after the victim called to report an unknown male was rummaging through their vehicle. Officers responded to the residence; however, the male had already fled the area. A short while later, through efforts from the officers and the victim, the officers were able to track the suspect, Justin, to the area of Corsica Avenue and Pompeii Way where he was taken into custody without incident.

Justin was transported to the New Castle County Police Headquarters where he was charged with the following crimes:

• One Misdemeanor Count of Theft Under $1500

Justin was arraigned by the Justice of the Peace Court 2 and released on OR, however, he was committed to Howard Young Correctional Institution on a Violation of Probation.
