(Newark, DE 19711) The New Castle County Division of Police are currently in the area of Red Mill Farms investigating a report of possible human remains being located. Detectives will be in the area conducting a terrain search along Kirkwood Highway, between Fairway Road and Polly Drummond Hill Road and the right lane will be closed. There will be intermittent lane closure, so the public can expect delays.

This is an active and ongoing investigation. Additional information will be provided as it becomes available. The public can expect to see an increased police presence but there is no threat to the public.
