We’ve received calls there are scammers pretending to be an officer from our agency claiming someone has outstanding warrants or fines.

📞 How It Works:

You may get a call saying you owe fines, missed jury duty, or are under investigation. They’ll threaten arrest or legal trouble unless you pay immediately.

⚠️ Watch for These Red Flags:

Unsolicited calls claiming legal issues

Threats of arrest or jail

Demands for payment via gift cards, crypto, or wire

Don’t give personal or financial info over the phone

Report suspicious calls to local authorities
