(Wilmington, DE 19804) Officers from the New Castle County Division of Police are actively investigating an incident in the 300 block of Victoria Avenue. Residents should expect an increased police presence and the possibility of other emergency vehicles in the area. While the incident is contained to a residence, local schools have been notified for their lockdown procedures.

Victoria Avenue will be closed from Jackson Avenue to Surrey Avenue, motorists are advised to avoid the area and seek alternate routes.
