New Castle County Division of Police Participates in “Operation Coast to Coast” in Combating Human Trafficking.

On Thursday, October 16, 2025, detectives with the Investigative Services Section participated in Operation Coast to Coast—a nationwide initiative aimed at recovering and providing services to potential victims of human trafficking. Operation Coast to Coast was launched in 2024 by the Human Trafficking Training Center and its partner organizations to foster a unified, national response to human trafficking. This proactive operation was conducted at multiple locations throughout New Castle County. Through the collaboration of investigative resources, victim advocacy, and specialized training, law enforcement contacted multiple victims and connected them with vital support services.

Three suspects were also arrested during the operation and charged with patronizing a prostitute.

Aaron Williams (37) of Wilmington was charged with one misdemeanor count of patronizing a prostitute. He was arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 11 and released on $500 unsecured bail.

Edgar Lopez-Gonzalez (30) of Wilmington was charged with one misdemeanor count of patronizing a prostitute. He was arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 11 and released on $500 unsecured bail.

Jose Rosales (51) of New Castle was charged with one misdemeanor count of patronizing a prostitute. He was arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 11 and released on $500 unsecured bail.
