Officers spoke with the Victim, who reported that just minutes before the theft, they had started their vehicle to warm it up and left it unattended with the keys inside. Upon returning, they discovered the car was missing.

On Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at approximately 11:45 a.m., the New Castle County Regional Communications Center (RECOM) received a call from a subject identifying himself as Kayonne Baxter.
