UPDATE: As of 5:15 p.m., the Division’s Crisis Management Group has responded and is on scene. This remains an active investigation. Motorists are asked to avoid the area and seek alternate routes, as roads remain closed in the area of Ramsey Road.

(Wilmington, DE 19803) Officers with the New Castle County Division of Police are currently on scene in the unit block of Ramsey Road investigating a report of shots fired.

Residents should expect an increased police presence in the area. Ramsey Road is closed between Beaver Valley Road and Woodlawn Road. Motorists are asked to avoid the area and seek alternate routes.
