The New Castle County Division of Police is attempting to locate Roland Fleming, who is wanted on a capias for failure to appear on multiple felony and misdemeanor charges.
On April 19, 2025, Roland Fleming was driving a vehicle that struck and killed a 72-year-old man riding an electric scooter. Fleming was subsequently arrested and charged with multiple felony offenses, including Driving Under the Influence. He later failed to appear for his scheduled arraignment, and the New Castle County Superior Court has issued a capias for his arrest.

In September 2025, Detectives with the New Castle County Division of Police opened an investigation into a suspect believed to be selling stolen Honda and Acura vehicles through social media platforms.
During the investigation, Detectives identified 18-year-old Ailear Braxton, who used multiple names on social media, as the individual responsible for selling the stolen vehicles. Detectives determined that Braxton used fraudulent Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) to conceal the vehicles’ true identities. When buyers later attempted to register the vehicles, the original VINs were uncovered, revealing the vehicles had been reported stolen.
Following a thorough investigation, Ailear Braxton was taken into custody on April 2, 2026. He has been charged with the following offenses:
Six felony counts of Selling Stolen Property valued over $1,500
Six felony counts of Receiving Stolen Property valued over $1,500
Braxton was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 11 and committed to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution in lieu of $24,000 secured bail.
Detectives believe there may be additional victims who unknowingly purchased stolen vehicles or vehicle parts, specifically Honda or Acura, through social media marketplaces.
Anyone with information related to this investigation, or who believes they may have purchased a vehicle or parts from this suspect, is asked to contact Detective Diksa at (302) 395-8231 or via email at Dakota.Diksa@newcastlede.gov
