This past week, through our continued partnership with the Delaware Office of Highway Safety, 10 additional New Castle County Police Officers earned certification as Child Passenger Safety Technicians. The newly certified technicians include Detectives from our Traffic Services Unit and Officers from our Community Services Unit, expanding our ability to help keep children safe on our roadways.
Our certified technicians offer FREE car seat inspections and installations to ensure seats are properly installed and appropriate for your child’s age and size.
Our Officers can help answer questions such as:
✅ Is my car seat installed correctly?
✅ Is my child’s harness adjusted properly?
✅ Should my child be rear-facing or forward-facing?
✅ Is my child ready for the next type of safety seat?
