GOLD ALERT ISSUED FOR 30-YEAR-OLD BEAR MAN: BRENTON SCULLEY

The New Castle County Police Department is searching for 30-year-old Brenton Sculley.

(Bear, DE 19701) Earlier today (Jan 3rd), officers from the New Castle County Division of Police were dispatched to the unit block of Kingston Drive, in the community of Kingston Acres for a missing person report. Upon arrival, the officers’ investigation revealed that Brenton Sculley was last seen in this area and made statements that caused a concern for his welfare.

Brenton is described as a White male, 5’08”, 180 pounds, brown hair, hazel eyes.   He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt and black pants. He currently has lacerations on the back of his head and blood on his face and arms.

POLICE INVESTIGATE HOME INVASION IN THE COMMUNITY OF TODD ESTATES

Detectives from the New Castle County Division of Police are investigating a home invasion in the community of Todd Estates.

(Newark, DE 19713) During the early morning hours of December 13th, 2020, at approximately 12:27 A.M., officers from the New Castle County Division of Police were dispatched to the unit block of Todd Lane in the community of Todd Estates, for a report of a Home Invasion.

Upon arrival, officers located a 48-year-old female suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

Detectives from the New Castle County Division of Police, Criminal Investigations Unit arrived at the scene and assumed the investigation.  This investigation is ongoing and in its early stages.  Additional information will be provided as it becomes available.
