K-9 MAX RETIREMENT

Congratulations  to K-9 Max, after over 7 years of service he is retiring today. Max is a 10 year old German Shepherd who was born in France and was acquired by the department in January 2012 and partnered with his handler, M/Cpl. Stefani Cerkez. K-9 Max faithfully served with C squad as a dual purpose narcotics dog. Thank you for you never ending service and loyalty. Max will reside with his handler where he will enjoy sleeping in, chewing his kong, and being thoroughly spoiled.

NEW CASTLE COUNTY DIVISION OF POLICE SEEK PUBLIC’S ASSISTANCE IN IDENTIFYING THEFT FROM MOTOR VEHICLE SUSPECT

(Wilmington, DE 19808) On Sunday (August 4), officers from the New Castle County Division of Police were dispatched to Carousel Park (3700 Limestone Rd) in reference to a Theft from Motor Vehicle complaint.

Multiple items were stolen including a payment card.  During the investigation,  officers were able to locate surveillance footage of a suspect utilizing the stolen payment card at a pharmacy in Hockessin.
