POLICE INVESTIGATE MULTIPLE THEFTS FROM VEHICLES IN CLAYMONT

(Claymont, DE 19703) Officers from the New Castle County Division of Police are currently investigating multiple thefts and criminal mischiefs in Claymont. Earlier this morning, officers were dispatched to multiple incidents in the communities of Darley Green, Naamans apartments, Woodstream Garden apartments, and Woodacre apartments. Multiple victims either found property missing from their cars or their vehicle windows damaged. The incidents occurred between 5:30 a.m. and 6:15 a.m. and are still being reported at this time.

INVESTIGATION UPDATE: POLICE INVESTIGATE FATAL MOTOR VEHICLE COLLISION IN THE COMMUNITY OF WILTON – ARREST MADE

(New Castle, DE 19720) Detectives with the New Castle County Division of Police Traffic Services Unit have charged 21-year-old Julisa Prak of Philadelphia. On September 26, 2023 detectives began an investigation into a fatal motor vehicle collision that occurred on Wilton Boulevard near the intersection of Edinburgh Drive in which a pedestrian was struck and killed. Following the investigation, Julisa Prak was charged with one felony count of leaving the scene of a collision resulting in death. Prak turned herself in today, January 9, at New Castle County Police headquarters. She was arraigned by the Justice of the Peace Court 2 and released after posting $5,000 secured bail.
