Criminal Mischief Causes Significant Damage to Car

The New Castle County Police are currently searching for the suspect(s) that caused approximately $10,000 worth of damage in the community of Amberfield Townhouses.

(Newark, Del.-19702) On Sunday morning, at approximately 8:40 a.m., New Castle County Police were called to a home in the unit block of Swansea Lane for a criminal mischief to a car.  Officers arrived and observed damage to the interior and exterior of the vehicle estimated to be approximately $10,000 worth of damage.

The investigation revealed the unknown suspect(s) entered the unsecured car sometime between the hours of 1:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. on Sunday.
