The investigation continues into the officer involved shooting that occurred on Wednesday (Mar 29).  County Police has identified Leroy Brown, 28 from the 5600 block of Whitby Avenue in Philadelphia as the suspect shot by an officer.

The investigation revealed that Brown was operating a stolen Dodge Avenger when he fled from both Philadelphia and County Police.  The vehicle was stolen from Philadelphia.

The children that were with Brown during the Philadelphia incident, were dropped off at a home prior to Brown’s interaction with County Police.

Investigators continue to comb through evidence and interview witnesses.
