The NCCPD Youth Academy gives local youth ages 13 to 17, from 8th grade through high school seniors, an opportunity to explore law enforcement through hands-on activities and instruction from police officers. Cadets will learn about criminal investigations, traffic stops, evidence collection, CPR, leadership, and teamwork while gaining a better understanding of police operations and the importance of serving their community.
