The New Castle County Police are currently investigating the shooting of a 20-year-old man that occurred in the community of Bayview Manor.

(New Castle, Del.-19720) On Saturday (May 27) at approximately 1:15 p.m., New Castle County Police responded to the 200 block of Keller Beyer Road (Bayview Manor) in reference to the report of several gunshots and a 20-year-old victim suffering from gunshot wounds.

Responding units located the male victim laying in the garage suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

The victim was transported to Christiana Medical Center via a Delaware State Police Helicopter where he is currently undergoing treatment.
