Today, November 5, Colonel Bond promoted Lieutenant Dolan, Lieutenant Polk, Sergeant Landis, and Sergeant Reid.
Lieutenant Polk joined the New Castle County Division of Police on April 12, 1999. Lieutenant Polk started his career as a Patrol Officer before working as a Detective on the Family Services Squad. Once attaining the rank of Sergeant he returned to patrol as a Patrol Sergeant. He was later assigned to the Professional Standards Unit.
Lieutenant Dolan joined the New Castle County Division of Police on July 6, 2004. Lieutenant Dolan Started her career in the Patrol Division before working as a Detective in the Crime Analysis Unit. In 2013 she was promoted to Sergeant and returned to the Patrol Division as a Patrol Sergeant. In August 2018 she assumed command of the Lt. Joseph Szczerba Police Academy.
Sergeant Landis joined the New Castle County Division of Police on September 7, 2010. Sergeant Landis started his career in the Patrol Division and later joined the Mobile Enforcement Team (MET). In 2017, Sergeant Landis was assigned to Operation Safe Streets.
Sergeant Reid joined the New Castle County Division of Police on November 14, 2011, and was later assigned to the Patrol Division. During that time he served as a Field Training Officer as well as a Property Crime Specialist. Sergeant Reid later joined the Criminal Investigation Unit as a Homicide Detective.
