(New Castle, DE 19720) The victims and families of our unsolved homicides are not forgotten and there are ongoing efforts by the New Castle County Division of Police and the Criminal Investigation Unit, Cold Case Squad, to bring about a resolution to each and every case.  In an effort to refresh the community’s recollection and investigate every possible lead we will be posting again the information pertaining to each open case.

On Saturday, December 28th, 2013 at approximately 11:44 p.m., patrol officers from the New Castle County Division of Police were dispatched to the Brookside Community Center in reference to a shooting with one victim struck. The victim was identified as D’Andre Green who died as a result of his injuries.

Investigators learned that a party was being held at the Brookside Community Center, when a fight broke out inside the party which ended up going outside the Community Center. The investigation revealed that 16-year-old D’Andre was not involved in the fight.
