(New Castle, DE 19720) On December 10, 2020, at approximately 2:00 P.M., officers from the New Castle County Division of Police responded to the area of Rose Lane in the community of Rosegate for a report of shots fired. Upon arrival, officers were informed that two gunshot victims had already been transported to a local area hospital. The officers located the scene of the shooting to be the 100 block of Rose Lane. It was later learned that one of the victims had succumbed to his wounds, and the other victim is in critical condition.
The victim that died was identified as 29-year-old, Dakevis Reed.

On December 12th, 2020 at approximately 9:17 P.M., Officers from the New Castle County Division of Police were dispatched to the area of Fairway Road for reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, the responding officers discovered a male and a female suffering from gunshot wounds. Officers immediately started life savings efforts however, both victims died from their wounds.
The victims were identified as 23-year-old Allen Huff and 18-year-old Iris Longakit.

During the early morning hours of December 14th, 2020, at approximately 05:02 A.M., patrol officers from the New Castle County Division of Police were dispatched to the unit block of Bristol Way in the community of Kingston Court, for a report of a shooting that had just occurred.
Upon arrival, officers located a male suffering from a gunshot wound. The officers, assisted by other emergency first responders administered first aid, but were unsuccessful. The victim, identified as 36-year-old Robert Wright, was pronounced dead at the scene.
