(New Castle, DE 19720) The New Castle County Division of Police is saddened to announce the passing of K9 Prezzi.  K9 Prezzi was a 6-year-old Belgian Malinois and German Shepard cross.  He was assigned to K9 officer, Master Corporal Richard Blackston in May of 2017. 

Throughout his career,  K9 Prezzi seized over $300,000 of US currency, made numerous criminal apprehensions, and was instrumental in the seizing of illegal firearms and narcotics.
