(Newark, Del.-19711) The  New Castle County, Division of Police has issued a Gold Alert for Charles Clifton, a 40-year old Newark man. 

Charles made statements that were of concern for his welfare earlier this week. His family made attempts to get Charles mental health treatment, but were unsuccessful. He left the residence today (5/28) at approximately 12:00 p.m. 

Charles is described as a white male, 6’4” tall, weighing approximately 230 lbs. with a bald head and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a long-sleeved olive green t-shirt, tan shorts and black sneakers.   He owns a black Jeep Cherokee with Delaware registration PC229862.
