(Newark, DE 19702) The New Castle County Division of Police is attempting to identify a subject believed to be involved in an identity theft.

On Monday, August 21, 2023, at approximately 3:00 p.m., the victim contacted New Castle County Division of Police to report that an unknown subject withdrew a large amount of money from her personal checking account utilizing fraudulent checks. 

In the provided video surveillance, the subject is observed to be a female with dark hair wearing glasses and a dark jacket.
