(Newark, Del.-19702) The New Castle County Division of Police has issued a Gold Alert for Mark Hoffman, an 83-year-old man from Newark. 

On Saturday (12/9),at approximately 6:00 p.m., Mark advised he was going to follow an ambulance to the Christiana Hospital after a family member experienced a medical emergency.  Mark never arrived at the hospital and has a history of getting lost while driving. 

Mark is described as a white male, 6’1” tall, weighing approximately 180 lbs., with gray hair and hazel eyes. He  was last seen wearing a flannel shirt and Dickie work pants.  Mark is operating a 2012 silver Chevrolet Impala with Delaware registration HP47457.

Police believe he may be attempting to go to the Christiana Hospital.
