(Bear, DE 19701) Patrol Officers with the New Castle County Division of Police have charged 34-year-old Audranna Dorn with multiple felony charges following a vehicle stop. On Monday, December 18, 2023, at 10:39 a.m., an officer observed a vehicle run a stop sign and red light near the area of Porter Square. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver was identified as 34-year-old Audranna Dorn. Upon being contacted by police, Audranna was observed to be actively smoking marijuana. Officers then conducted a search of her car and located psilocybin mushrooms, 2.5 pounds of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, a loaded 12-gauge short-barrel shotgun, and a loaded 9mm handgun.
Audranna was transported to New Castle County Police headquarters and charged with two felony counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, one felony count of possession of a firearm by a person prohibited, one felony count of manufacture/deliver/possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, two felony counts of carrying a concealed deadly weapon, one felony count of possession of a destructive weapon, one felony count of possession of a controlled substance in a tier 1 quantity, one misdemeanor count of possession of a firearm while under the influence, one misdemeanor count of driving under the influence, and multiple traffic violations. She was arraigned by the Justice of the Peace Court 2 and held in lieu of $67,002 secured bail.
