(New Castle, DE 19720) Detectives from the New Castle County Division of Police are currently investigating a shooting that occurred near the intersection of Wilton Boulevard and E. Edinburgh Drive. On Sunday, March 10, 2024, at 7:05 p.m., patrol officers were dispatched to above area for a shooting. Officers arrived at the scene and encountered two adult males suffering from gunshot wounds. Both males were transported to the local area hospital, where they are listed in stable condition.

Detectives from the Division’s Major Crimes Unit and Evidence Detection Unit have responded to the scene to assume the investigation. This remains an active and ongoing investigation and further information will be released as it becomes available. The public can expect to see an increased police presence in the area for the next several hours.
