โ ๏ธ ATVs and OHVs are designed for off-road use only. Riding them on public roads is dangerous and illegal.
๐According to Injury Prevention research, over 60% of ATV-related deaths occur on public roads.
๐นOperating Off-Highway Vehicles (OHVs) or All-Terrain Vehicles (ATVs) is prohibited on:
โขPublic roadways
โขSidewalks
โขPrivate property without the property owner’s consent
โขRights-of-way throughout the state of Delaware
โขSpecial events are the only exception, but they must have permits issued by the appropriate government agency with jurisdiction over the area.
๐จ Violations can lead to:
โข Fines up to $1,000
โข Tickets and towing
โข Impoundment for up to 6 months โ at your expense
