In the early morning hours of Wednesday, May 7th, a series of vehicle break-ins occurred in the Windybush, Woodside Hills, and Holly Oak Terrace neighborhoods off Silverside Road in Wilmington. One of our Officers responded to 12 of these incidents during her shift—and here’s the kicker: every single vehicle was left unlocked overnight.

The #9PMRoutine is more than just a catchy hashtag—it’s a simple but important reminder:

Lock your car doors

Remove all valuables from your vehicle

Close your garage door

Turn on your outside lights

A few seconds at 9PM can save you a lot of stress in the morning!
