POLICE INVESTIGATE FATAL MOTORCYCLE CRASH

(Newark, DE 19711) – On Friday, July 25, 2025, at approximately 8:56 p.m., officers from the New Castle County Division of Police responded to the 100 block of Stature Drive in the Sherwood Forest community for a report of a single-vehicle motorcycle crash involving a parked car.

Upon arrival, officers located the rider, identified as a 49-year-old male of Newark, unresponsive at the scene. New Castle County Paramedics and EMS responded and transported him to a nearby hospital, where, despite life-saving measures, he was pronounced deceased.

The New Castle County Division of Police Traffic Services Unit responded and has assumed the investigation.
