SUSPECT ARRESTED IN GLASGOW PINES THEFT INVESTIGATION

(Newark, DE 19702) On Tuesday, April 28, 2026, officers from the New Castle County Division of Police began investigating a series of thefts from motor vehicles on Lockhaven Court in the Glasgow Pines Townhomes community.

As the investigation continued, Officers determined that at least five vehicles had been entered and property stolen during overnight hours. Through evidence collection and follow-up investigation, officers identified 23-year-old Salih Frink of Bear as the suspect.

On Wednesday, April 29, 2026, Officers responded to a residence on Rue Madora in the Pine Woods community of Bear, where they located Salih Frink and property that had been reported stolen from vehicles.

Frink was taken into custody and transported to New Castle County Police Headquarters, where he was charged with the following offenses:

  • Five felony counts of burglary in the third degree
  • Two felony counts of attempted burglary in the third degree
  • One felony count of theft under $1,500, victims 62 years of age or older
  • Three misdemeanor counts of theft under $1,500
  • Three misdemeanor counts of attempted theft under $1,500

Salih Frink was arraigned at Justice of the Peace Court and committed to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution in lieu of $25,000 cash bail.
