New Castle County Police have arrested a 17 year-old and 19 year-old Joshua Wright for a theft from  motor vehicle in the community of Elmhurst.

(Wilmington, Del. 19804) Tuesday (January 2) at approximately 1:20 a.m., patrol officers were dispatched to the 100 block of Belmont Ave for a report of a theft in progress. Officers learned that a resident observed two subjects looking inside of his black Dodge. They fled on foot prior to police arriving on scene.

Officers responding to the community located the 17 year-old and Joshua Wright in the neighborhood matching the suspects clothing description. They were taken into custody without incident. Evidence located on scene further linked them to the theft.

Joshua Wright was charged with third degree burglary, second degree conspiracy, and misdemeanor attempted theft. He was arraigned and released on $5,500.00 unsecured bond and issued a no contact order.

New Castle County Police Detectives have arrested 19 year-old Bryan Steger of the 2800 block of Washington St for drug related offenses.

(Wilmington, Del. 19802)  During the month of November, Detectives from the New Castle County Police Drug Control Squad learned that Bryan Steger was selling drugs throughout New Castle County. During the course of the investigation, detectives established enough probable cause and search warrants were granted for the two residences associated with Bryan Steger in the City of Wilmington.

Friday (December 29) Members of the New Castle County Police Drug Control Squad and assisting units from the Wilmington Police Department served simultaneous search warrants in the 2800 block of Washington St and 2000 block of N Pine St. Bryan Steger was taken into custody without incident from the residence in the 2800 block of Washington St.

Police seized approximately 10.8 grams of crack cocaine, 86 bags of heroin, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia. Detectives also located 9mm, .22 caliber ammunition and $565.00 in suspected drug proceeds.

Bryan Steger was charged with felony possession with intent to deliver heroin, felony possession with intent to deliver crack cocaine, felony possession of crack cocaine in a tier 1 quantity, misdemeanor possession of Marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was arraigned and committed to the Howard Young Correctional Institution after failing to pay $55,100.00 secured bond.

New Castle County Police Detectives have identified 24 year-old Antoine Terry of the 400 block of Anderson Dr in New Castle as the man found shot earlier this morning.

(New Castle, Del.-19720) Today (December 28) at approximately 12:50 a.m., New Castle County Police were dispatched to the 200 block of Parma Ave for the report of shots fired. Officers discovered Antoine Terry suffering from a gunshot wound and he was pronounced dead at the scene by New Castle County Paramedics.

This is an ongoing and active investigation by New Castle County Police Detectives; further information will be released as it becomes available.
