COLD CASE HOMICIDE: HARRISON HACKETT JR. (1988)

Victim: Harrison Hackett, Jr., 73-year-old male

Date of Incident: November 20, 1988

Location: 457 Anderson Drive, Wilmington, DE. 19801

Community: Dunleith

Investigation Details:

On November 20, 1988, at approximately 12:45 p.m., New Castle County Police responded to a residence in the community of Dunleith after a family member discovered the victim, Harrison Hackett Jr., lying on the living room floor.

Hackett, a retired postal worker who had been homebound for several years due to a broken hip, had been stabbed and died as a result of his injuries.
