**UPDATE**: As of 6:40 P.M., Milltown Road is now open.
(Wilmington, DE 19808) Officers from the New Castle County Division of Police are currently on the scene of a motor vehicle crash on Milltown Road. The roadway is closed between McKennans Church Road and E. Parris Drive. Drivers are urged to seek alternate routes and avoid the area if possible.

On September 21, 1996, John Paul Cool was at his residence at 5 Ashkirk Place in the Glasgow Pines Townhouses with his girlfriend and son.
Around 8:30 PM, suspects unlawfully entered the home and confronted the family. During the incident, the child sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
Following a struggle, John Paul Cook was shot multiple times and died as a result.
