CAN YOU HELP IDENTIFY THIS THEFT SUSPECT?

The New Castle County Division of Police is asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect involved in a series of thefts.

On Saturday, June 28, 2025, at approximately 8:20 AM, Officers responded to several reports of thefts from motor vehicles in the Glasgow Pines Townhouse community on Kilgor Court and Hastings Court in Newark. The suspect, who fled the scene, was seen checking for unlocked cars, entering them, and stealing various items.

Surveillance footage captured the suspect in the area at the time of the incidents. He is described as a black male, approximately 20 to 30 years old, with short hair and a patchy beard. He was last seen wearing dark clothing and white sneakers.

REQUEST FOR ASSISTANCE: ATTEMPT TO IDENTIFY SUSPECT IN INDECENT EXPOSURE-BROOKSIDE PARK AREA

(Newark, DE 19713) Detectives from the New Castle County Division of Police are attempting to locate a suspect regarding an indecent exposure report.

On Friday, June 27, at approximately 2:15 p.m. Patrol Officers responded to the 100 block of Old Newark Road at the parkland in Brookside Park, for a report of an indecent exposure.

Upon arrival, officers spoke with a 12-year-old victim and the victim’s parent. The child reported that he saw a white male suspect standing near the footbridge, that leads towards Carlisle Road and Cameron Lane, watching him before exposing himself.

The child described the suspect as a white male, approximately 40–45 years old, about 6 feet tall with an average build. He was last seen wearing a gray t-shirt, black shorts, and a red baseball cap with black stitching. The suspect may also have a red bicycle.

Officers thoroughly checked the surrounding area but were unable to locate the suspect or the bicycle. Detectives from the Criminal Investigations Unit responded and assumed the investigation.
