New Castle County Police have arrested Kyle Mace, 18, Hunter Foltz, 18, and Jayson Mitchell, 19, in connection with this investigation.
On Sunday (November 13) at about 10:00p.m., County Police responded to Kyle Mace’s residence and were able to take him into custody without incident after finding him hiding in a closet.
Hunter Foltz turned himself in to County Police on Monday (November 14).
Through the investigation, detectives learned of Jayson Mitchell’s involvement. Detectives obtained a warrant for Jayson Mitchell’s arrest and took him into custody without incident at his residence.
The stolen Toyota Prius has not yet been recovered. Anyone with information on that vehicle is asked to contact police.
Kyle Mace was charged with second-degree burglary, third-degree burglary, felony theft, misdemeanor theft, theft of a motor vehicle and three counts of second-degree conspiracy. He was arraigned and committed to Young Correctional Institution after failing to post $23,500 cash-only bail.
Hunter Foltz was charged with second-degree burglary, third-degree burglary, felony theft, misdemeanor theft, theft of a motor vehicle and three counts of second-degree conspiracy. He was arraigned and committed to Young Correctional Institution after failing to post $12,000 secured bail.
Jayson Mitchell was charged with three counts of third-degree burglary, three counts of misdemeanor theft and one count of attempted misdemeanor theft. He was arraigned and committed to Young Correctional Institution after failing to post $8,000 secured bail.
