The New Castle County Police are currently searching for suspects involved in a rash of thefts from motor vehicles in the Claymont area.

Claymont, Del.-19703 Last night, County Police responded to Naamans Apartments, Woodstream Garden Apartments, and Woodlawn Apartments for the report of a number of thefts from cars.

Officers were able to locate surveillance video and observed a group of teens entering the unsecured vehicles.  The preliminary investigation revealed a dark colored sedan with Delaware registration may also be involved.

Residents are reminded to PARK SMART by locking your vehicle, securing or removing any valuables and taking your keys with you.
