(Newark, DE 19702) On December 20th, 2019 officers from the New Castle County Division of Police were dispatched to the unit block of Sandburg Place in the Evergreen Apartments at Christiana Reserve for a burglary report. When the officers arrived, they learned that the staff has been having ongoing issues with vandalism to the Fitness Center. On this date, subjects kicked in the door to the Fitness Center and caused over $500 worth of damage to the surveillance cameras.
Two days later, (Dec 22) officers again were dispatched to the apartment complex for another break-in to the Fitness Center. This time, after they again kicked in the doors, the subjects committed over $1300 dollars damage to the exercise equipment inside.
The investigation revealed that the subjects shown in the photographs are two of the subjects responsible for this damage and other damaged property throughout the area.
