Detectives arrest sexual assault suspect who was located via a tip from our social media community.

(New Castle, DE 19720) Last Wednesday, (July 15) the New Castle County Division of Police posted photos of a sexual assault suspect responsible for sexual assaults that victimized a 10-year-old, 5-year-old and a 3-year-old.

Shortly after the social media posting went out, the subject in the photo was recognized by members of our social media community and a tip was generated that lead investigators to his location.

On Thursday, (July 23) detectives from the New Castle County Division of Police were able to conclude their investigation by arresting 58-year-old John Faulk without incident.

John Faulk was charged with one count of felony Rape 2^nd degree where victim is less than 12, one count of felony Sexual Abuse of a Child by a Person of Trust 1^st degree, four counts of felony Unlawful Sexual Contact of a Child Younger than 13, and two counts of felony Sexual Abuse of a Child by a Person of Trust 2^nd degree.

He was arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 2 and held in lieu of $160,000 secured bail.
