(New Castle, DE 19720) The victims and families of our unsolved homicides are not forgotten and there are ongoing efforts by the New Castle County Division of Police and the Criminal Investigation Unit, Cold Case Squad, to bring about a resolution to each and every case.  In an effort to refresh the community’s recollection and investigate every possible lead we will be posting again the information pertaining to each open case.

On Monday, November 12, 2012, eight years ago today, at approximately 9:20 p.m., officers from the New Castle County Division of Police were dispatched to a shooting in the area of 211 Thorn Lane, Studio Green Apartments in Newark Delaware.

When the officers arrived, they discovered the victim, 20-year-old Peter DiSabatino lying on the sidewalk suffering from gunshot wounds. He was transported to the hospital, where he died shortly after arrival.

The suspects are described as two black males, one of which is wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and the other a black hooded sweatshirt.
