POLICE INVESTIGATE CARJACKING IN THE COMMUNITY OF ROBSCOTT MANOR

(Newark, DE 19713) Last night (Feb 8), at approximately 10:15 p.m. patrol officers were dispatched to the unit block of Sanford Drive, in the community of Robscott Manor for the report of a carjacking just occurred.  When the officers arrived at the scene, they discovered that the 37-year-old victim was also stabbed in the upper body by the assailant.   The victim was transported to a local area hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Detectives from the New Castle County Division of Police arrived at the scene and assumed the investigation.

The investigation revealed that the victim’s vehicle was in fact taken and detectives are asking assistance from the members of the community in locating a Red Hyundai Elantra (MD reg 5EK7640).  As the investigation progressed, the victim became uncooperative with the detectives.
