(Claymont, Del.-19703) The New Castle County Division of Police has issued a Gold Alert for Britten Bethea, a 31-year-old man from Claymont. Britten was last seen at approximately 2:00 p.m. on Friday (6/23) afternoon.
Police responded to Britten’s home after a family member called 9-1-1 due to Britten have a mental health crisis. Britten has been without his medication and made statements that were of concern for his welfare.
Britten is described as a Black male, 6’4’’ tall, 250 lbs. with short black hair and a goatee. He was last seen wearing an unknown-colored Nike athletic suit. Britten left the home in a black Chevrolet Equinox with Delaware registration PC376461 and he may be traveling to an unknown address in Pennsylvania.
