(Wilmington, DE 19805) During the month of January, Officers from the Division’s Mobile Enforcement Team conducted a drug investigation involving 26-year-old Azhe Allen of Wilmington.

On Tuesday, February 29, 2024, Officers responded to a residence on the 2700 block of Lancaster Avenue – Wilmington. A search warrant was conducted at which time 25 grams of crack cocaine, 20 bags of heroin, drug paraphernalia and a loaded handgun were recovered.

He was transported to New Castle County Police headquarters where he was charged with one felony count of possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, two felony counts of manufacture/deliver/possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, two felony counts of possession, purchase, own or control a firearm/destructive weapon If previously convicted, one misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia.

 He was arraigned by the Justice of the Peace Court 2 and held in lieu of $52,500 cash bail.
