(Wilmington, DE 19804)-On Sunday, March 3, 2024, at approximately 1257 hours, Officers from the New Castle County Division of Police were dispatched to Little Caesars on Latimer Circle for a report of an armed robbery.  It was reported that while making a purchase the suspect went around the counter and alluded, he was in possession of a handgun. The suspect then removed money from the register and fled the scene.

After a multiple jurisdictional investigation, Police were able to establish Lakwang Bungy as a suspect. Lakwang Bungy was located in the City of Wilmington and Detectives from New Castle County Division of Police charged him with the following crimes:

• One felony count of robbery in the first degree.
• One felony count of wearing a disguise during the commission of a felony.

Lakwang Bungy was arraigned by the Justice of the Peace Court 11 and held in lieu of $66,000 cash bail.
