The National Weather Service has issued an Extreme Heat Warning for New Castle County and nearby areas, in effect through 8:00 PM on Wednesday, June 25, 2025.

Temperatures from today through Wednesday are expected to rise into the upper 90s, with the heat index possibly reaching as high as 108°F 🔥.

Please take precautions to stay safe:

💧 Stay hydrated

🌳 Limit time in direct sunlight

🚗 Never leave children or pets unattended in vehicles

👵 Check on elderly neighbors and those without A/C

⚠️ Be alert for signs of heat-related illnesses, know the symptoms!
