INVESTIGATION LEADS TO NARCOTICS SEIZURE IN NEW CASTLE

(New Castle, DE. 19720) Detectives from the New Castle County Police Drug and Human Trafficking Investigations Team have arrested 45-year-old Adeeb Sharif of New Castle on multiple felony drug charges after an investigation was launched in September 2025, following the discovery of evidence of narcotics trafficking throughout New Castle County and surrounding areas.

On Tuesday, November 18, 2025, Detectives executed a search warrant at Sharif’s residence on the 400 block of Howell Drive in the Collins Park neighborhood. During the search of his residence, Detectives seized the following:

-889 Grams of Crack Cocaine

-263 Grams of Crystal Methamphetamine

-88 Grams of suspected MDMA (Methylenedioxymethamphetamine)

-59 Grams of suspected Heroin/Fentanyl

-1045 Grams of suspected cutting agent

-Digital scale, razor blades, sandwich bags, and other packaging materials commonly used to distribute and package drugs

Adeeb Sharif was transported to New Castle County Police headquarters, where he was charged with the following crimes:

  • Four felony counts of possession with the intent to deliver a controlled substance, Tier 3
  • Four felony counts of possession of a controlled substance, Tier 3
  • One misdemeanor count for possession of drug paraphernalia

Adeeb Sharif was arraigned before Justice of the Peace Court 2 and committed to the Howard Young Correctional Institution after failing to pay $480,200.00 in cash bail.
