(Claymont, DE. 19703) On Thursday, July 16, 2026, at approximately 10:05 a.m., officers responded to multiple residences in the 3500 block of Naamans Drive and a residence in the 1400 block of Historical Way in the Darley Green community for reports of attempted burglaries that had just occurred.
Officers determined that an unknown suspect attempted to gain entry into several homes by prying on rear doors and windows. The suspect also accessed the second-floor deck of one of the homes. In addition, the suspect was reportedly ringing doorbells throughout the affected neighborhoods before attempting to enter the homes.
At this time, the suspect shown in the attached photograph has not been identified.
