PLEASE JOIN NEW CASTLE COUNTY PUBLIC SAFETY AND THE MINISTRY OF CARING FOR TURKEYTHON 2023 – NOVEMBER 17TH

As we gear up for the festive season, we are excited to announce the upcoming 2023 Turkeython, a unique event that not only celebrates the spirit of Thanksgiving but also highlights the importance of community, unity, and public safety in New Castle County.

This year, we’re focusing on the spirit of giving, and we invite you to be a Thanksgiving hero by joining New Castle County Public Safety and The Ministry of Caring for our Turkeython Food Drive. As we come together to celebrate, let’s also ensure that no one in our community goes without a warm meal during the holiday season.

We’re calling on our community to contribute turkeys and canned food items. Your donations will help create Thanksgiving meals for families who may be facing challenges this holiday season. We will be accepting donations of frozen turkeys; fresh and canned veggies, yams, dry-mix stuffing, and “all the fixings” for a Thanksgiving dinner, along with dessert items suitable for families. For safety, we ask that donors AVOID donating items packed in glass, and kindly refrain from donating alcohol (beer, wine, or spirits)
