New Castle County Police Detectives have released a composite sketch of a burglary suspect that was interrupted by the homeowner.
(Wilmington, Del. 19808) On Tuesday(November 21) at approximately 10:30 a.m., New Castle County Police were dispatched to the 200 block of Steeplechase Cir for the report of a burglary. Police learned that the 39-year-old victim left his residence for approximately one hour. When he returned home, he observed a white male suspect in his residence. The suspect displayed a knife and tied the victim’s hands and feet. Before fleeing the residence, he threatened to harm the victim if the victim called the police. Only cash was taken from the residence.
The suspect is described as a white male, 5’10”, stocky build, with a short “scruffy” beard. He was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.
