New Castle County Police Arrest 37-year-old Wilmington Man for Theft from Motor Vehicles.

(Wilmington-19805) On Saturday, (April 14) patrol officers from the New Castle County Police were dispatched to the unit block of Homestead Rd for a subject breaking into vehicles.  Officers arrived at the address and were shortly thereafter able to locate 37-year-old, Derrick Edwards.  Derrick Edwards had a large amount of stolen property in his possession and was taken into custody and arrested without incident.

Derrick Edwards was transported to New Castle County Police and charged with: one count of Felony Burglary Third Degree, five counts of Misdemeanor Theft, and one count of Misdemeanor Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Derrick Edwards was arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 11 and held on $5750 secured bail.
