(Wilmington, DE 19803) The New Castle County Division of Police, Safe Streets Task Force has arrested 29-year-old Zachary Zbranak for multiple felony charges following a traffic stop.
On Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at approximately 6:38 p.m., Detectives stopped a blue Ford F-150 for a traffic violation around Powder Mill Road, which was being driven by 29-year-old Zachary Zbranak of Landenberg, PA. During the traffic stop, Detectives located a handgun, cocaine, and several large-capacity magazines.
Zachary Zbranak was transported to New Castle County Police headquarters where he was charged with the following crimes:
- Two felony counts of possession of large-capacity magazines.
- One felony count of possession, purchase, or control of a deadly weapon by a person who possesses a controlled substance.
- One felony count of possessing or consuming a controlled or counterfeit substance except human growth hormone without a prescription.
- One traffic violation of failure to use a signal when turning or moving right or left.
Zachary Zbranak was arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 11 and committed to the Howard Young Correctional Institution after failing to pay $22,250 cash bail.
